In 1990s in the major U.S. City of Philadelphia, a incident that would change the course of the city occurred. It was the start of fall, and the city had a crisis. Many of the children in Philadelphia spent large amounts of time playing sports, including Baseball, Football, and most importantly, Basketball. Gang Violence had risen exponentially since the 80s and it seemed that the city was divided by gangs, and the police force couldn't do anything about it.
I was an intern at the Philadelphia Police Department, and my job was to sort through documents about cases from long ago, they were usually uninteresting, you know the common old lady getting her handbag stolen, or an uninteresting robbery of an engagement ring. Once in a blue moon, there would be an interesting document, I wasn't allowed to bring the documents outside of the building so I would have to read it in the building. One of these documents was interesting, and it was called The Philadelphia Incident, sure it does sound like something off of a crappy internet wiki, but don't judge a document by its name.
In the South-West district of Philadelphia the gangs of the district were starting to get rougher and rougher, one day in the start of fall, a teenage African-American was going down to the basketball courts, but a gang was stopping him from doing it. The teen started a fight with the gang, but lost, the Police don't know many details since the gang members had all died on the same day, 10 years after the suspected date of the fight.
The mother of the teen, was scared that the gang would hunt the family down, bought tickets for the teen to go to Southern California. The teen did not want to go with that plan, and the neighbor who was in his home that day said that the teen said, "Mother! I will give them pain... I will make them pay the ultimate price..."
The teen was sent to California, and made it safely there in 1st class, though the pilot on the flight back mysteriously fell asleep in the cockpit while the co-pilot was in the restroom, and the plane crashed.
The teen was recorded by CCTV cameras at the airport, the footage shows him getting into a taxi with a license plate which read, "FRESH", and the taxi had 2 fuzzy dice in the mirror, it is suspected that the teen thought that the taxi was if anything rare, so he got in. The taxi was found in a ditch around the L.A. area, with the police finding no signs of how the driver died.
The police who had been watching the taxi carefully, found that the taxi arrived at its destination, a mansion, around the time of 7-8 AM. The private security footage, which was taken by the L.A. police due to a murder happening at the residence, found that the teen yelled at the taxi driver, "Yo home smell ya later", and the taxi left.
Ever since that day, it has been said that L.A. and Philadelphia were never the same.
